Dr. Maryam Liaqat

Assistant Professor

Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering/Photonics)



Working as Assistant Professor in Department of Physics. She also Focal Person of Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU) of University as well as Faculty Coordinator. She earned Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil in 2018. She did Master's and Bachelor in Physics from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Her specialization is in Biophotonics/Biophysics. Ph.D. Project was "Development of Flexible Antennas for Breast Cancer Imaging System". Also has background linked with Raman Spectroscopy and Gamma Camera. Her research interests are , Use of radiation (of Different frequency range) in medical field, Designing of Microwave Antennas (Standard and Flexible), Image Processing for Medical Application, Theoretical study of Nanomaterials and Simulation of Antenna for wearable devices using HFSS and Mathcad softwares.
